Bigfoot and Other Lost Souls is a musical fable about a young woman who lost her baby - when she didn't even know she had one.
It’s 1981 and Bernie Bernstein, novice scriptwriter and shoe-size eleven narrow, is broke and brokenhearted. Having been dumped by her cross-dressing boyfriend, she takes the only job she can get: writing a Bigfoot documentary. The quest launches her into the woods and there she meets an fugitive Weatherman, a Bigfoot expert and his wife, a pregnant, illegal-alien Scottish cable-access camera crew, the sheriff of Mt Shasta who was a former psychiatric nurse in Vietnam, a couple of FBI agents, and two pothead paramedics. On her search for the elusive creature, Bernie learns not only about the Sasquatch, but also uncovers the truth about herself and her baby.
